The Caring Cupboard Summer Lunch Program

June 12 – August 26, 2023

The Caring Cupboard provides food for children during the 11-week period of summer vacation. Each participating child in the Palmyra and Annville-Cleona School Districts will receive 5 days’ worth of breakfast and lunch to replace what they would receive in school. Those who receive free or reduced meals throughout the school year are encouraged to sign up for the program.

In the summer of 2019, we began distribution at two satellite sites. St. Paul the Apostle Church in Annville hosted the Summer Lunch Program each Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Staff and volunteers also hosted the program at Palm City Park each Thursday through the summer of 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. More than 1,000 meals were distributed at our satellite sites in the summer of 2019!
